Playa de Llevant is a long east-facing beach that spans more than 2 kilometers toward the northern end of Formentera. Llevant is basically a long a nude beach except for a few stretches that tend to be all or mostly textile. Since the beach is so large and varied, we have divided it into five segments, Anorthernmost part of beach, mixed nudist & textile through Esouthernmost part of beach, frequent nudity . Stretching 800 to 900 meters, Anorthernmost part of beach, mixed nudist & textile is the northernmost and generally the least crowded part of Llevant, and it gets a mix of nudist and textile use. Going south, Bnear Tanga restaurant, typically all textile is a segment of about 500 meters where amenities (Tanga restaurant, sunbed rentals) are available. Bnear Tanga restaurant, typically all textile is typically the most crowded part of the beach, and it tends to be all textile except on less crowded days. Continuing south, Clong crescent, frequent nudity is a long crescent stretching about 350 meters, bracketed at either end by rocky masses that project into the sea. Nudity is quite common along Clong crescent, frequent nudity . Farther south, Dthree small crescents near Manolito restaurant, mostly textile is a collection of three small crescents of similar size that collectively span about 300 meters. Amenities (Manolito restaurant, sunbed rentals) are available along Dthree small crescents near Manolito restaurant, mostly textile , so that area tends to be mostly textile (especially at the middle of the three crescents) but with some nudity. Just 100 or so meters long, Esouthernmost part of beach, frequent nudity is the southernmost and smallest segment of Llevant, and it is just slightly disconnected from the rest of the beach by a large sand dune over which there is a walkway. Esouthernmost part of beach, frequent nudity is a popular with nude bathers since it is somewhat isolated from the rest of the beach. | |||

Sa Roqueta is a name loosely applied to a roughly 900-meter-long stretch of east-facing coastline between two beachfront hotels: Hostal Sa Roqueta and Hotel Roca Bella. The more southerly of the hotels, Roca Bella, is situated atop a rocky projection of land called Punta Alta. We have divided Sa Roqueta into areas: Fnorthernmost part of beach near Hostal Sa Roqueta, limited nudity , Gmain part of beach, frequent nudity and Hcove south of main beach, some nudity north of boat shelters . Area Fnorthernmost part of beach near Hostal Sa Roqueta, limited nudity , the northernmost area, is mainly an 85-meter-long beach immediately south of Hostal Sa Roqueta, but there is also a collection of small sandy niches extending northward from the hotel. Going south from area Fnorthernmost part of beach near Hostal Sa Roqueta, limited nudity , there is a rocky stretch of about 250 meters of coastline pocketed with tiny sandy niches, then there is area Gmain part of beach, frequent nudity , which is the longest beach along the Sa Roqueta coastline, extending about 200 meters. This beach is also known by the name Ses Canyes or Ses Cañes. Continuing south just around a bend from Gmain part of beach, frequent nudity , area Hcove south of main beach, some nudity north of boat shelters is a small, shallow cove on the north side of Punta Alla where there are a number of ramshackle wooden boat shelters and a rocky islet just offshore. Nude bathing is common all along the Sa Roqueta coastline, at the beaches and niches as well as along the rocky stretches. During peak season, nudity is least common at area Fnorthernmost part of beach near Hostal Sa Roqueta, limited nudity . Nudity is much more common at area Gmain part of beach, frequent nudity . Nude use continues southward into area Hcove south of main beach, some nudity north of boat shelters , with nude bathers tending to stay in the part of the cove that is north of the boat shelters, opposite the rocky islet. | |||
