Platja de Llevant is a long east-facing beach that spans more than 2 kilometers toward the northern end of Formentera. Llevant is basically a long a nude beach except for a few stretches that tend to be all or mostly textile. Since the beach is so large and varied, we have divided it into five segments, Anorthernmost part of beach, mixed nudist & textile through Esouthernmost part of beach, frequent nudity . Stretching 800 to 900 meters, Anorthernmost part of beach, mixed nudist & textile is the northernmost and generally the least crowded part of Llevant, and it gets a mix of nudist and textile use. Going south, Bnear Tanga restaurant, typically all textile is a segment of about 500 meters where amenities (Tanga restaurant, sunbed rentals) are available. Bnear Tanga restaurant, typically all textile is typically the most crowded part of the beach, and it tends to be all textile except on less crowded days. Continuing south, Clong crescent, frequent nudity is a long crescent stretching about 350 meters, bracketed at either end by rocky masses that project into the sea. Nudity is quite common along Clong crescent, frequent nudity . Farther south, Dthree small crescents near Manolito restaurant, mostly textile is a collection of three small crescents of similar size that collectively span about 300 meters. Amenities (Manolito restaurant, sunbed rentals) are available along Dthree small crescents near Manolito restaurant, mostly textile , so that area tends to be mostly textile (especially at the middle of the three crescents) but with some nudity. Just 100 or so meters long, Esouthernmost part of beach, frequent nudity is the southernmost and smallest segment of Llevant, and it is just slightly disconnected from the rest of the beach by a large sand dune over which there is a walkway. Esouthernmost part of beach, frequent nudity is a popular with nude bathers since it is somewhat isolated from the rest of the beach. | |||
